When all else fails.... swim in the bathtub!
This afternoon, I thought that it'd be a genius idea to take the little munchkin out for a dip in our apt complex pool. But, after getting me ready, the baby ready, and hauling the stroller, floaty, pool bag, and baby down 2 flights of stairs (not my favorite thing to do), it started to rain. Stupid rain! Back up stairs we went. I really didn't want all of my efforts to be in vain, and Chloe knows what her floaty means so she was pretty excited.
So, into the bathtub we went.
Our apartment has insanely huge tubs. We were able to fit me, Chloe, and her big yellow floaty quite comfortably.
Swimming in the tub was great! The water was the perfect temperature and we didn't have to worry about sunscreen. We stayed in until we were nice and pruney. HaHa! Phooey on you rain!

Wow, I want that bathtub!!!! I've had the same thing happen to me but I just gave up and we did something else. And our tub does NOT fit all of us so that wouldn't have worked. lol
